I apologize but The league seriously needs to please do one of two things preferably both. I realize this involves way more time and expertise than some of us have but I feel it’s important enough that I would like to put it in the leagues Suggestion Box
Make an accurate spreadsheet of owned minor leaguers both by team and alphabetically so us lazy assholes and the rest of you can find these players without going thru 20 team rosters one by one
And expand yahoo roster size so we can actually put them on our team page and hide them from the Yahoo FA list. Thank you

There are a few reasons this is not possible, mostly due to Yahoo restrictions. The max # of NA player slot allowed by Yahoo is 10, which we have. Each team has 20 NA slots on the spreadsheet, so all NA players could not be on the Yahoo rosters. In addition, some NA players are actually on MLB rosters, they just haven't reached 130 ab or 50 ip yet. Since they are not NA designated in Yahoo, they need to be released to FA if a team wants to add any other player to their active roster. Kris has a tab called owned minors on the spreadsheet, but it is glitchy and lists by team, not alphabetically. Plus many teams move players up and down to/from active roster frequently, so it's not always 100% up to date. My advice is if a player is a known top prospect, assume he's probably owned by someone. Otherwise, spend the 5 minutes to go through each team's spreadsheet.

I think the issue here was I didn't have Zimmer on my NA. That's my fault.

I think the issue here was I didn't have Zimmer on my NA. That's my fault. I should do a better job of researching. I didnt dig deep enough or cross check enough. Guys, I appreciate its almost impossible to put EVERY player on a Yahoo roster...Im only talking about the NAs that are ON Yahoo. That come up FA when you do a search. If there is a way to add just THEM to a roster that would help alot. Yahoo should give long established leagues, like this, a wider cushion when it comes to roster size and so forth. You guys have more than earned their trust by now, I would think. But, thats another discussion. But, I also think putting together a page of all the Minor Leaguers/NAs alphabetically and by team is an option we should consider. yes it would have to be updated periodically of course. Especially following drafts, etc... but, its a very valuable tool in helping us determine if these players are available or not. And, no, Im not computer savy enough to write the code to do that, but i would be willing to help put it together in any way I can. I would hope the league at least considers this as an option going forward. And, again, my apologies for any missteps I may make regarding bids, claims, etc...I'll try to do better
