Cobra members,
We are making some slight tweaks for the 2020 season. I will elaborate more when I am not at work.
The bare bones: 1. We will be adding 5 more bench spots. 20 active roster spots, 10 bench spots, and 10 N/A players.
2. To curb the amount of money that teams have, we will be changing the rookie draft slightly. The slot value for the pick will be the rookie you draft salary for two years. After the two years, he will reset to his MLB contract. These contracts can be dropped or traded. This will increase the complexity of trading picks, which I still need to work out.
I will update this thread when things get ironed out or have other changes.

So can you be more clear about this
I thought the na’s were kept on the spreadsheet and the active players were the ones we add to get to 30
Thanks
John

No. We changed what we were going to do to be consistent with what the real mlb did.

Kris, for use "new" folks - could you give an example of how the Rookie "slot value" works?

Slot value = two things: 1) Cap hit for the first two years, in this case it's the cap hit for 2020 and 2021. 2) The rough amount of cash you would have to give up to acquire a pick.
