Snowman:
Bauers likely was dropped by San Diego as a free agent prior to this year, then signed later as a free agent by another team. With out historical data, I would speculate that San Diego dropped Bauers, and the Angels later bid on him as a free agent. Thus, a player can have his name on multiple team spreadsheets.

There are only two pitchers in MLB history who pitched in the postseason after only having one start in the regular season, and you just dropped them both-Ryan Merritt and Matt Moore. Also. Moore is one of only two under age 23 LHPs to win their first 8 starts in a season. The other is Babe Ruth. BTW Moore is in Japan.

Sorry, just I noticed your memo - my bad. I didn't know the Merritt/Moore thing - perhaps my move was making history? Not!!! I used to think both pitchers were serviceable, but Merritt after his World Series appearance had a horrible history of injuries - perhaps he will finally find the mark with a change. I would not have waived Babe Ruth out of general principle - LOL!

If we had fantasy back then, Yahoo would have had Ruth as two separate players, at least when he was with Boston.
