Hello Jim, the proper procedure is after 24 hours have passed on your bid you then have 24 hours to announce the signing like so "Nationals sign Robinson Chirinos - TEX - C to a 3 year contract at league minimum through 2022, roster move to follow." You also will have a 2nd 24 hours after winning the bid to add the newly won free agent to your Yahoo roster or you lose said player back to free agency and still will pay the winning contract for the next 3 years and the bidding could resume at the winning bid for any team wanting to bid on said player.
In the "Roster Moves" threads you will have 1 thread titled "Washington Nationals Roster moves" in which you will post every addition, subtraction to your team roster during the 2020 MLB season as well as any Minor League roster moves or trades as well.
In the Washington Nationals Roster moves thread you'd make the announcement like so " The Nationals add the newly signed Robinson Chirinos to the roster" as well as include and drop , IL moves or whatever is needed to make roster space for him if needed. If you have an open roster spot, just post it as such " the Nationals have an open roster spot, no other moves are necessary at this time" You should get the basis of what I'm talking about here? Don't forget to add the player ont to your Yahoo roster as well.
